Welcome to the Little School!

The Little School is a pre-school dedicated to providing individualized, quality attention to children, parents and staff. We provide an enriching, supportive environment where everyone thrives and parents and staff learn as much as the children! The Little School celebrates the unique contribution of each person and the diversity of the community as a whole ethnic, racial, economic and family structure. We have much to learn from our different abilities, as well, and ten percent of our population are children identified with special needs.

Begun in 1984, we serve children from two to six and a half in a wonderful, imaginative space with a creative, thoughtful program. But we know it is the people who make it special. Our staff include a founding director, founding teacher and long-term teachers and program director. As an institution, we are committed to helping all members of our community grow in their ability to communicate and respect each other.
