Our Programs

We are proud to offer programs that express The Little School’s core philosophy and approach in ways that support and inspire children from toddlerhood to Transitional Kindergarten. Drawing from a consistent set of ideas and methods, we modify each class to support children at different stages in their development. Due to our recognition of the primacy of relationships, children move through their time at The Little School as a cohort, and children new to The Little School join existing cohorts at all age levels.

Our youngest learners -- children who are two years old by September 1st  -- have the option of the Traditional Track, attending on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or the 5-Day track, attending Monday-Friday.

During their second year at The Little School, children remain in the same classroom with the same teachers and peer cohort. The Traditional Track cohort transitions to three days a week (Mondays, Wednesday, & Fridays), and the 5-Day Track cohort continues a Monday-Friday schedule.

As they move up to new teachers in the four & five year old programs, all children attend school Monday through Friday.

We also offer a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) class for children who have completed preschool and are ready for a challenging and engaging curriculum before beginning elementary school.
